Please join us for gourmet food, fine wine and lots of fun at our 3rd annual auction on Saturday, October 2nd at our Historic Queen Anne Building!
It’s official; We are now a Seattle’s historic landmark! The ribbon cutting ceremony will kick off our 3rd annual auction event. In 2009 we received a Landmark Challenge grant of $19,779 from 4Culture; We raised the matching funds needed at last year’s auction. Phase I of the waterproofing plan is complete after spending $44,000 which was used to replace large sections of the original membrane below the original Spanish tile roofing. Phase II will include further restoration of leaded glass windows and oak doors as well as completing the torch-down and copper flashing that remain unaddressed. Updated and accessible bathrooms are also on our list of projects as we hope to continue to be a center of community activity with meetings, weddings, recitals and, of course, the Queen Anne Girls Scouts.
